It’s August, and time for a new school year. The stores are filled with clothing and supplies for the choosing. The teachers are preparing for the progress they have planned for the students. The level of anticipation is high for educators and pupils alike, and before you know it, the morning commute will include yellow school buses and flashing lights. Some children will experience school for the first time. Some are starting the year with graduation fever, and others are moving away to experience college life. Regardless of the age or stage, it is an exciting time.
Tucker Business Association is also going back to school. With topics that aid in updating skills and providing new information, the monthly meetings and activities provide the perfect settings for education, networking and support. Our fall programming includes educational opportunities for financing small business, insurance planning and the effective use of social media. Get excited!
Mary Kay Ash is known to have said, “The faintest is better than the sharpest memory,” so pick up a new notebook and a grip-friendly pen, and join us in a little lifetime learning. Consult the website for meeting dates, times and locations, and then mark your calendar for fun. When the students are ready, the teachers appear.
